The US Biochar Coalition is sharing an important course developed by the Carbon Business Council as part of the CDR RDT: Carbon Dioxide Removal Responsible Deployment Trainings. Scaling carbon removal to the gigaton level requires strong community engagement to build trust, maximize positive impacts, and reduce potential risks. CDR RDT offers a range of educational materials and trainings focused on the responsible implementation of carbon removal solutions. Created in collaboration with partners and informed by expert insights, the introductory course provides a foundational understanding of best practices in the field. The course is free, easy to access, and takes about an hour to complete, making it a valuable resource for anyone involved in carbon removal efforts.
